Christmas memories

December is only half over and we've already got some fantastic memories.

We've watched Jacey perform a lovely song on the piano,

broke a sweat while putting on gloves,

napped on the couch while fighting off pneumonia,

and decorated the tree.

Devin decided to commemorate the month with a very special drawing.  I give you.... "Daddy Yelling at the Christmas Tree".

The back story - the bottom of the tree was cut at an angle so it would not sit straight in the stand no matter how tightly Todd turned the screws.

What BEAUTIFUL memories! And what a good artist Devin is. Todd, I'm wondering how effective the tree yelling was . . . as you may remember from your growing up years, I find yelling at inanimate objects an absolutely wonderful way to vent. Love you all!

Seriously, you need to frame that picture and bring it out every year! Priceless! Love the family photo and the glimpes of "the most wonderful time of the year"! Hope you have a merry, happy, joyous Christmas with your beautiful family.

I am in love with Devin's drawing of dad yelling at the tree. We finally bought a stand that causes no fights in order to keep our marriage from falling apart. ;) It has a spike that the tree drops down on. I highly recommend one.

OMG, that is such a funny drawing ! She did a great job, seriously. She put the goatee, the grr and you can totally feel the leaning...
The photo of the family is beautiful. It took me a couple seconds to realize that was Jacey. I counted and thought someone was missing, but then I realized I was counting Jacey as you !!! Vicki
